To pass from turquoise blue to dark blue, whether swimming or on the boat, was a dream with strong emotions assured…”
“We always moored in quiet spots with only a few other boats and around shores with little construction. Reassuring but not invasive….I would spend part of the night on deck gazing up at the stars. Christmas is the time to see Orion and I am a fan of those stars.”
“As for the weather, I admit we were very lucky. Apart from a few showers at night, which gave us some charming surprises when the water came through our open portholes, we had continuous fine weather and in spite of that no one suffered from sunstroke. Just a few red patches - treated with Tamanu oil (It’s a local product that heals and soothes and is available at local pharmacies)."
